Alejandra Lopez is the founder of the Law Office of Alejandra Lopez, PLLC, where she practices Immigration and Criminal Law. Alejandra’s career is defined by over a decade-long commitment to public service and a relentless drive to represent those navigating complex sectors of the legal system.

Before launching her private practice, Alejandra spent over 12 years at The Legal Aid Society (LAS) in New York City. She served as a Senior Attorney in the Criminal Defense Practice in Queens and the Immigration Law Unit in Downtown Manhattan. Alejandra obtained her Juris Doctor from the CUNY School of Law and earned her Bachelor of Arts summa cum laude with dual majors in Political Science and Women and Gender Studies.

Alejandra is admitted to practice law in four states: New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Florida. Her practice is built on the foundation of mentorship and the belief that every client deserves an advocate who has seen the legal system from the inside out. 

Today, she balances her passion for justice with her commitment to her community and family, bringing a unique perspective to every case she handles.
